The air date is Friday the 13th (July). I thought that was funny, as I grew up with the number 13 everywhere; on the house I lived in, on the school bus, etc. I've always seen it as normal, good luck, even. It was a scripted show, so don't be surprised if you see me growling at the kiln, catching vases thrown from Bruce's antique biplane zooming overhead, or using my best french accent talking to my own hand. (My sincere apologies to the French, it is quite terrible.) I am very fortunate that this is the second TV appearance for my work and myself. TV really doesn't really add 10 lbs, that is completely a myth..... It is more like 20! But Buster D. Bird (you'll see him on my shoulder) made his "National TV Debut" this time and wants his own email address for all the fan mail he expects. I hope he doesn't want his own show!
The crew was there two days. The filming of the segments took 6-7 hours, encountering very high humidity in the studio, swarming termites, and a ghost encounter earlier in the film crew's day that they caught on film. The editing itself took one year. I have included pictures since many of you will be at work on a Friday and won't see it. I, too, have not seen it, no telling WHAT is on it!
Special thanks to Emily Catey Photography, (documenting photography) and Mimi Makward for her wholehearted help
I hope we all enjoy the show, it will probably be a hoot!
