City+County Lifeguard in Waikiki from 1986-1988.....over the course of 12 years of home ownership at Jocko's near Chun's Reef (where there are no lifeguard towers)...I pulled close to 100 people of all ages and sizes from all kinds of drowning conditions in all kinds of surf. Most of these people would have been in serious trouble and might have drowned
had I not intervened when I did.
I have also taught literally thousands of people how to surf in front of my house and elsewhere....1st for North Shore Lodging....then for Eco-Surf Tours... then for Willis Brothers....then North Shore Surfing School...and have been considering becoming a Waikiki BeachBoy (part time).
I am scuba certified. I can free-dive to 100
feet. I have cliff dived 80 feet. I have bodysurfed 20 foot Pipeline alone and surfed 30 foot Waimea alone.
